Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PeerDynamic collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit peerdynamic.com, use the contact form, or otherwise communicate with PeerDynamic through the website.
1. Who is responsible for your information
PeerDynamic is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. To make a privacy request, use the website contact form and write “Privacy request” in the message.
2. Information collected
Information you provide
When you submit the contact form, PeerDynamic collects:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your company name, if you choose to provide it; and
- the contents of your message and any later correspondence.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health information, trade secrets, or other sensitive, confidential, or privileged information through the contact form.
Providing contact information is voluntary. Name, email, and message are required if you choose to use the form because PeerDynamic cannot meaningfully review or respond to an inquiry without them. Company name is optional.
Technical information collected automatically
The website is hosted on Google Cloud App Engine. Google Cloud may process ordinary web-request and infrastructure information such as IP address, request date and time, requested path and query string, HTTP method and status, referrer, browser or device user agent, and response size. This information is used to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the website.
The redesigned website does not load third-party analytics, advertising pixels, external web fonts, or JavaScript libraries from public CDNs.
3. Notice at collection
At the contact form, PeerDynamic collects identifiers and professional or communications information, specifically your name, email address, optional company name, message, and related technical submission data. PeerDynamic uses this information to respond to your inquiry, manage a potential or existing professional relationship, prevent spam and abuse, and maintain appropriate records. PeerDynamic does not sell this information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
4. How and why personal information is used
PeerDynamic uses personal information to:
- respond to questions and requests;
- take steps at your request before entering into a possible business relationship;
- manage communications and business records;
- operate, protect, debug, and improve the security and reliability of the website;
- detect and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- comply with applicable law and lawful requests; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
European legal bases
Where the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, PeerDynamic relies on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Pre-contractual steps or contract: processing an inquiry when you ask PeerDynamic to consider or provide services.
- Legitimate interests: responding to communications, administering business relationships, operating and securing the website, preventing abuse, and protecting legal rights, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligation: retaining or disclosing information when required by applicable law.
PeerDynamic does not use contact-form information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Service providers and other disclosures
PeerDynamic discloses personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above:
- Formspree, Inc. processes contact-form submissions, spam controls, backend validation, and delivery of submissions to PeerDynamic. The form data is sent directly from your browser to Formspree. Formspree may also receive ordinary technical submission information such as IP address, browser information, time of access, and referrer. See the Formspree Privacy Policy.
- Google Cloud and Google Workspace. Google Cloud App Engine hosts the website and associated infrastructure logs; Google Workspace may process notification emails and correspondence generated from contact submissions. See the Google Cloud Privacy Notice.
- Professional advisers and authorities. Information may be disclosed to legal, accounting, security, or other advisers, or to government authorities, when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
6. No sale or targeted-advertising sharing
PeerDynamic does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. The website does not use advertising networks or behavioral advertising cookies.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
PeerDynamic does not intentionally set first-party analytics or advertising cookies on this website. Formspree or other third-party sites reached through external links may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies.
8. Retention
- Contact submissions and correspondence: generally retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive communication, unless a shorter period is appropriate or a longer period is reasonably necessary for a contract, legal obligation, security matter, dispute, or legal claim.
- Technical request and infrastructure logs: retained according to the applicable Google Cloud project configuration and operational or legal needs.
PeerDynamic may delete or de-identify information sooner when it is no longer needed.
9. International data transfers
PeerDynamic and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where European data-protection law applies to a restricted transfer, PeerDynamic relies on applicable processor safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.
10. Security
PeerDynamic uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information, including HTTPS encryption in transit and restricted access to service accounts and form submissions. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to:
- request access to personal information about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of information, subject to exceptions;
- request restriction of or object to certain processing;
- receive certain information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing;
- opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising use where applicable (PeerDynamic does not engage in those activities); and
- not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.
To exercise a right, use the contact form and write “Privacy request” in the message. PeerDynamic may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and locate the relevant records.
EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If European data-protection law applies, you may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in the country of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
California and other U.S. state disclosures
Where an applicable U.S. state privacy law applies, the categories collected are identifiers, professional or employment-related information you voluntarily provide, internet or other electronic network activity, and communications content. Sources, purposes, recipients, and retention criteria are described in this policy. PeerDynamic does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the website and asks visitors not to provide it.
12. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for a general professional and business audience and is not directed to children under 13. PeerDynamic does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website.
13. External links
The website links to third-party sites and services, including LinkedIn and publication-related sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and PeerDynamic is not responsible for those practices.
14. Changes to this policy
PeerDynamic may update this policy to reflect changes in the website, service providers, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top will be updated when material changes are posted.
